As to motors, with electric aircraft we tend to utilize their higher available torque differently. At lower speeds we can fly longer prop blades, and more of them, with much higher aerodynamic efficiency than a variable pitch prop on a combustion engine. At high speeds the current and torque required drops, thus the rated horsepower isn’t reached. The Siemens motor is just fine, and we are ready for it. We also have our own.
